Support Group

The Supprot Group concept is to provide everything from child-minding to morning tea for both mothers and children so that there are no barriers to mothers attending the group. A gold coin donation is requested for each session. Support group meetings held twice a month from 10:00am - 12:00pm with three facillitators at each session. Child-minding facilities are provided and bookings are essential for child-minding to ensure enough volunteers for all children. At least one babysitter present will have a current Infant & Children First Aid Certificate.

Currently, Hornsby-Ku-ring-gai runs Baby Bumps based on the POSIE model from Willow Park Community Centre, 25 Edgeworth David Avenue, Hornsby. This support group is held on the first, third and fifth Wednesday of the month with second and fourth Wednesday meetings at Rofe Park, Galston Road, Hornsby Heights for a walking group.
